View from Brookland
This blip is taken from behind the family house in Tamworth, New Hampshire, called Brookland, where we are staying after participating in the wonderful memorial service and family gathering for my cousins Roland and Cynthia (see yesterday's backblip).
The property belonged to my mother's sister and her husband, who passed away in the late 90s, and my cousin inherited it. My wife and I regularly spend time there during the summer, with my three sons and their families --our next stay begins on 15 August.
The mountains are part of the Sandwich Range; in the center is Whiteface, name for its white rock front (barely visible here).
