Loch Coille Bharr

Had to be out the Wigwam for 10.30 this morning. So we headed off homewards. Popped into to check out the surf at Westport Beach. There was a few guys out, but to be honest, I prefer a bigger wave.

The road up the west coast of Kintyre is amazing, with views across to Islay and Jura. We took a detour at Lochgilphead and followed the Crinan Canal for a bit then headed down into Knapdale.

This is Loch Coille Bharr. It is one of the release sites for the Scottish Beaver Trial ran by the SWT. Although, we didn't see any Beavers on this visit.
