Spring is coming!!

Kaz left early this morning to go to work in the city. Spence and I woke up about 8, had a shower and then breakfast. We were going to bring the bins back in from the side of the road when Spence decided that he wanted to keep going and go for a walk! That lasted about 5 minutes before he wanted to be picked up (which I wouldn't do!) then he wanted to go back home and get the pram! So we did! We ended up going for a walk for about an hour to get the mail, go to the bakery and then to the park! it was a lovely day and no-one else was at the park so we had it all to ourselves! Spence had a great time then we walked back home.

We then went for a drive to collect sticks and bark to light the fire from the side of the road. While we were doing that, we saw Robyn who was looking for one of her puppies. Summer the puppie had run off and wasn't coming back when Robyn was calling her. Spence and I helped for a while but she still hadn't come back.

While Spence was having his sleep I was talking to Bev outside. She had been helping Robyn to try and find the puppy with no luck. About an hour later Bev called and said that Robyn had found Summer the puppy! They were all so relieved!

I took some photos of the new growth on the rose bushes today. I am so excited that the first signs of spring are here! New growth on bushes, daffodils out in bloom! Soon enough it will start to warm up and we might get some temperatures in the twenties!!
