Sand sculpture on the South Bank

F and I went for a walk on the beach today, along the South Bank of the Thames. It was neither filthy nor smelly, much to my surprise. Lots of oyster shells, bits of glass, plastic forks and the odd bone.

The sculpture guy is at work here every weekend, as far as I know. He's so inventive. The other side of the sculpture can be seen here.

We did two more 'firsts' today:

- we ate baby kiwi fruit: delicious! We bought a pack from M&S; I don't know if other places sell them.

- we bought a mouse toy for Whisky. I was sceptical, but Whisky really loves it. Here he is after a playing session, exhausted.
