Downhill
Right it has to be said here and now Jaegerbombs are not isotonic. No matter what you are told.
We had a nice meal and changed our plans to downhill at The Lecht and go to the Laggan Wolftrax instead. Our good buddy Mike (from Mike's Bikes, Aviemore for all your two wheeled needs...) told us that Laggan was now doing uplift and the trails were much better. So after a good meal, and saying goodnight to bar staff again when they were closing up we retired for some "rest". Got up the next morning and uplift is good. Had to do a wee bit of climbing for the upper red and had a whale of a time on the descent, a couple of more runs and we were ready to hit the road.
There was no danger I was taking gear with me on the downhill so I shot the Dalwhinie Distillery on the way home. Not my favourite malt but it's on the main tourist drag so this cynic reckons that saved it from the conglomerates mergers, acquisitions and destruction. Better malts in less pretty places weren't so lucky.
The hills up there are familiar to my viewers.
