Childhood memories...

Popped into St Albans this morning with my dad to get a few jobs done so I thought i'd snap my Tuesday blip at the same time. I decided that St.Albans Cathedral would be a fantastic spot...

When I was younger, my mum used to take me and my sisters to the Abbey (everyone in St.Albans calls it the Abbey) fairly regularly as she just loved how beautiful it was inside and out. Each time we went she used to buy us a colour-in alphabeat postcard to add to our Abbey Alphabeat book. We also used to go to services at Christmas and with the Brownies and when I walked in today the smell of the Abbey made me feel all nostalgic...it's weird when that happens isn't it?! A nice weird though...
