Fast ass glass...

I just got a sweet deal on an old Pen FT camera from the 1960's and it happened to have about a $600 42mm/1.2 lens on it! It is about double the size of my Pen 40/1.4, but it is still tiny all things considered. Boy is it a DREAMY lens... especially up close. Pen lenses were known for the their close focus abilities, but the sharpness drops off quickly! Its a great portrait lens though and it sharpens right up at f2.

SHOT NOTES: Pen 42/1.2 taken at f1.2. The depth of field on this thing is razor thin! And I thought the 40/1.4 was bad! Just auto adjusted levels in post.
