Barley or is it Wheat?

I've been looking at the field everytime I've been down to the river. There is a daunting elevated fence, topped with barbed wire. It has been taunting me!

Anyway, I some how managed to get up the bank far enough (getting nettled in the process on both legs - 'I hope this it is worth it' I was muttering - you can imagine some cursing in there too) to use a 300mm lens to try and simulate getting closer than I could manage.

I like it more than I thought I would.
