Getting ready for the Festival

I'm in Geneva for work at the moment and I managed to fit in a stroll along the lake after work today.

The annual Geneva Festival is starting early next week and the walkway along the lake was interrupted at regular intervals by fairground rides in various stages of assembly.

This brave fella was trying to put the final, fancy piece in place. I was hoping to capture a picture of the completed section, but he was taking forever (understandably) and my dinner was calling me, so I headed back to the hotel to order room service!

Geneva is an expensive city, but in terms of photographic opportunities, it's an absolute dream.
