This is home - Kendal. the gateway to the lakes. Or it has been for the last 7 years. On a night like tonight there's no finer place. The sun started to shine this afternoon and as it was tennis club night i managed to get a couple of hours in. Its been a long day. Mila was up at 4 am and out by 4.30 heading for Manchester airport on her way to Moscow. She arrived safely and as I write having a meal in Red Square!
This is a view from the helm overlooking Kendal tucked away in a valley and surrounded by the Lakeland fells, the Howgills and the Dales. No wonder it always rains!
