broken promises
As long as I've been aware of it there's been a little sign sitting forlornly in the window of the Conference Square-level floor of the western protrusion of the Sheraton advertising the potential use of the space for crêche facilities. For at least seven years now it's had no takers. Given the apparent rate of uptake of the office space in the former GPO headquarters this sign might be there for a while yet. I don't often wander past it during the day so have no idea how busy it gets but at night when it glows invitingly and greenly I usually pause and peer through the doors and windows at the utter lack of activity and vast amount of space wasted on the huge atrium, giant corridors and empty proposed coffee shop. Even if they opened the space to allow people to trundle through it it'd be better than wasting it. Maybe they could get a porridge-van and coffee-box to park on the pavement at the front and use it as a sort of giant lunching-hall for nearby people.
Perhaps they could make it into a massive gallery.
Had a wander. Found a Nickycoat. Bought it. Had a wander. Saw a film. Had a wander back. Tried a falafel. Liked it. Watched another film.
