Moth on the window

I opened the curtains this morning to find this little fella on the outside looking in.
A great chance to shoot a macro, it looked great with the light coming through it's wings.
Shortly after, it was joined on the window by a Daddy Long Legs/crane fly. My front window must be the place to be...?
For macro pics, any Ricoh camera is pretty much unbeatable, as this CX1 shot shows. The moth is about the size of your thumb.
Can anyone identify the species, just for the record?
