... turned out to be completely different from what I imagined. It was incredibly cosmopolitan (I should perhaps have guessed this) and really quite a cool place.

This was taken at the 'beach' right in the centre of town, a man-made promontory ending in a lighthouse and pier that allows people to step out of their offices and straight into swimming-and-suntan mode. It was a balmy weekday evening and the place was abuzz with folk.

These fellows were flaunting themselves on the posers' platform.
