Going flat
Oh dear. Funny how life can trip you up just when you thought you had a workable plan.
As reported yesterday, we want to move to Bristol... but not at any price! We saw an excellent, modern apartment very close to the harbourside, but the up-front cash demands of the lettings agent were staggering.
So it's back to the drawing board.
The day started badly. It was standing room only on the train as parents allowed their toddlers to bag a significant number of seats.
Then I had a call cancelling one viewing... then another cancelling a second.
By the time the train pulled in - half an hour late - we had one viewing left... and that ended in disappointment.
So I got the camera out and had a click around the harbour. I blipped the above shot because I liked the large writing (advertising a museum) and the words helpfully describing the passer-by.
