The former Gilcomston Parish Church

Aberdeen has an abundance of former church buildings, some now used as pubs, others offices or flats, one even houses a casino ...

This one was built as the Gilcomston Parish Church in 1771, then became the Denburn Parish Church before closing its doors in 2006 when the congregation moved to another location.

Recently, the lower windows have been boarded up.

Hopefully, it will get a new lease of life in the near future.
