Sweet Pea

I think this is the total opposite of how I feel this evening.

It wasn't the best of days and ended with some pretty bad news. I came home to see my wife and daughter and was so pleased to see them.

As I was putting Autumn to bed and saying goodnight to her it was heartbreaking to know that it's a very unpleasant world sometimes. She doesn't know that yet and I can't protect her from it forever.

I'm going to try, though.
