Clear and Cold

Yesterday, Camera-Shy was lamenting the photographic agony of a grey dull-light day. That was yesterday for me too.

The sun came out today. And, although most of the Autumn colors are gone, it still was a bright and colorful day.

When there is a clear sky here in Alaska, that means colder temperatures. It was 28 degrees Fahrenheit this morning, now 43 degrees. There was ice on the lake. The first snow arrived in our front yard.

Let's see, what's the date, October 6th?

It might be a long winter.
