Scented Hedge

I wish Blip was able to record the smell of this hedge. The perfumes of the honeysuckle and rose are so powerful and together they almost knock you out! I get to smell them each evening as Ollie gets his last wander of the day.

Where I live now is very sheltered, right down at sea level as opposed to on a cliff top. All sorts of flowers, vegetables, fruit, shrubs and trees will grow here and there are even palm trees! Harvested the first peas today and then kind neighbour came down with a bowl of strawberries and a cauliflower for us. She took some spinach plants as a swap - I think we came off best!
