TENT VIEW

This is the view from my tent on this Saturday evening. My niece, C, is also here (my brother's little girl), the dogs Speckle and Louis, and P and his son who live in the caravan across the field.

The weather was not great today until about 5 p.m. when it cleared up and we went swimming. Spent the day in and out of Wicklow town getting bits and pieces and checking email. Tonight is the residents (of the field) shindig and preparations were under way down at the entrance to the beach.

It was a great night with lots of spontaneous singing. Pity I couldn't remember all the words to Blue Moon, but Paul gave an impressive rendition of Boy Named Sue.
