MOUNT USHER

My sister and my two nieces and I all went swimming first thing. My brother-in-law left at 6 a.m. to get to work.

We had a long leisurely breakfast and then prepared to leave the campsite. It is time to head home, but not the end of the holiday. It was a spectacular day, so after saying my goodbyes I headed to Ashford to visit Mount Usher garden where Paul's wife and a friend works.

This is a truly amazing garden (in a Robinson style....apparently informal and not manicured). It was so hot that the shade of some magnificent exotic trees was a real blessing.

Afterwards, K and I headed up to Roundwood for a seafood platter and good chat. A great day.
