Two parrots sitting on the lamp posts

It sounds like the start of a bad joke.  Two parrots were sitting on the lamp posts...

Walking back towards the bus in San Francisco today and there was a terrible racket from above. Two parrots speaking to each other.  A local informed us they were wild and lived on the hill nearby but even he had never seen them down by the water front.
