The Quiet Life

Something of Interest (or Endurance of the Eldest)

The West coast of England attracts large numbers of the retired and elderly. The young seem to be holidaymakers. The local youths seem to go elsewhere for their kicks. These two took an age to walk the promenade, and I had to admire their endurance and the cardigans that they wore when most other people were either topless or near to it. Then they took an age to read something of interest while the world just slowly pass them by. No hurry, no stress.
