St Michael's Mount
St Michael's Mount is a castle on an island just off the cornish coast at Marazion.Parts of the castle date back to 1070 and building continued for several hundred years.
The castle is still occupied today by the St Aubyn family. Lord St Levan being the historical seat.
At low tide the cattle can be accessed by a causeway which links the island to the mainland. At all other times access is only by boat.
Looks better viewed large.
