Burano

A brilliant day on a brilliant little island. People here are SO friendly, and so accommodating of our language shortcomings.

Burano reminded me so much of Tobermory, and also of a "paintings by numbers" kit - does anyone out there remember the smell of the little pots of oil paint, and the bright, bright colours of a Spanish villa in the sun?

Anyway, every corner which was turned was another amazing sight. Thank goodness for the camera - without the evidence, you would think that you had been dreaming.
