A soldier of 1st (Royal) Regiment of Foot

This is Mike from Historic Scotland, dressed as a soldier of 1st (Royal) Regiment of Foot (Royal Scots) from the the era of George III. He was giving a presentation at Fort George on life as a soldier in the 18th Century. He was very entertaining and both Charlie and I really enjoyed it.

Fort George is a great day out if you are ever up in Inverness. Highly recommended!
