When we took the vaporetto to the Lido, we had no idea how hot it was going to become - 39º for goodness sake.

While we were having a beer in the shade, this brute of a shop came up the lagoon. Despite the fact that I think these huge cruise shops are really ugly, it did make an impressive sight against the old buildings of Venice.

I still wouldn't go on one, though.
