why are baby clothes white / cream/ biege???

with the impending new arrival we have been donated a selection of clothes- but they are all white, cream or biege...not anymore, the red batch are complete, the purple batch are spinning and the blue batch are waiting til tomorrow...mind do a black batch too :)
