Simple Pleasures

This is a beautiful piece of blue sky over Glasgow! It appeared today, in fact it was only the 2nd nice, warm, sunny day in the whole 3 weeks that I've been home. Well, determined to make the most of it, I donned the bikini and headed out to the garden to sunbathe!

The first half of my stint was accompanied by the very loud drilling of an extension in one of our neighbour's back gardens as well as effing and blinding from the roofers working on the house on the other side of ours; charming!

Things quietened down a lot after an hour or so, thankfully and I enjoyed the afternoon to myself, soaking up the sun and reading my book. Simple pleasures.
