Tortoiseshell butterfly on buddleia.
Mum's garden in the English Lake District. The butterflies and bees love the buddleia, and it's a great spot to photograph them.
We drove up yesterday, via Clitheroe in Lancashire and I'd hoped to get yesterday's blip there - it has a castle after all - however appalling rain put paid to that idea. So no blip for yesterday, but today, after a cloudy morning during which we explored the Lakeland Motor Museum the sun came out. I took lots of photos of beautiful old cars in the museum, but I prefered the butterfly for the day's blip.
