So that was Friday

Made it to the opticians without getting too caught up in Test Match traffic. Made it home thanks to a lift (via lunch) from friends.

Don't specs cost a bomb these days? I used to get them from the Dispensing Optician at the hospital, but guess what, they've axed the service - a service that made a profit, that dispensed specs for children with squints, and for people like me with complex problems.

I can't see well enough to know whether the new frames I'm trying on suit me or not, so I trusted the optician's opinion. As long as I can see better and don't look like Ugly Betty, I'm not too fussed.
