...As High as an Elephant's Eye!

"The corn is as high as an elephant's eye" -- a line from the title song of the musical Oklahoma!. We're in Massachusetts, not Oklahoma, but our corn has reached its mid-summer heights.

I blipped the same tobacco barn six weeks ago (from a different angle), when the corn had just begun to grow (a huge difference). Corn seems to have replaced tobacco nearly everywhere around us in the Pioneer Valley, along the Connecticut River. Some tobacco fields do remain, and I'll try to blip one in the next few days.
