His Majesty's

Went to the theatre today with the kids to see the singing kettle which was surprisingly ok! I thought it would be horrendous, so anything better was going to be a bonus. It was! Kids enjoyed it though, danced away and sang the songs.

His Majesty's is the largest theatre in NE Scotland and since it's been done up is actually impressive again. I remember it being pretty run down.

There is only one other His Majesty's Theatre in the World and it can be found in Perth, Western Australia. The reason is that the others all changed to Her Majesty's when the country changed form a King to a Queen. So there you go. I can't find a reason why this one didn't change though I'm sure I read online in the past.
