family bath time

Such a commotion outside my kitchen window this morning when a large group of hedge sparrows + one lone house sparrow were taking a bath in rather a grotty little pool. They seemed to be having a lovely time and some of them are blurred because they were shaking themselves vigorously. The shot was through the window so that I didn't disturb them. The poor little mites tend to get overlooked because they are just LBJs (little brown jobs) and look so nondescript.
