Went to a quiz night for charity tonight. We came last.

Didn't win anything in the raffle either.

I ate a cake and then it turned out it wasn't for me, embarrassing or what?

My niece passed me on Princes Street and cut me dead, the entertainment exchange had 'lost' the DVD I wanted to buy and could only offer an empty box.

And we couldn't finish the crossword either. (Though it turned out that yesterday I got a clue that D didn't, so that was an ego boost).

Altogether I have thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing, fun, warm, entertaining, day. It really has been a nice day, friends, food, a bit of sunshine and a few laughs.
