The Road Less Travelled

My children now insist that when we go to Alston, instead of using the A689 like most sane folks, we should use the narrow, windy, twisty, potholed back road instead that goes over 'the big hill'. From the top of the big hill we can see (almost) the entire universe as they know it. This is Lambley and it's impressive viaduct.
