Brow Raising

Eyes are supposed to be the windows to the soul but, apparently, in my case it's my eyebrows that have a personality of their own.

My daughter says she can even gauge my mood sometimes just based on how high "The Eyebrow" is raised. Then there are times when it communicates emotions I don't mean to, like the accidental "I'm interested" look when, in fact, I was just straining to see someone I thought I recognized in the distance.

A stylist at a salon once told me I had "angry eyebrows," which reminded of that episode on Seinfeld when Unlce Leo's eyebrows are singed off and Elaine draws them back on with a black Sharpie, giving him a perpetually angry expression.

Makes me wonder then, what other body parts could be conveying mixed signals?
