Adam's birthday today, and I managed to catch him on his mobile this morning via Skype so that I could wish him a happy birthday. It's the first time that I haven't seen him on his birthday. He said that he thought it was also the first year that he'd woken up and not remembered it was his birthday straight away.

Nice end to the week - Paul home from his camping trip to Newquay (judging by the sunburn on his legs, they had good weather there), and some friends came over for drinks in the evening.
