Gordon's Wine Bar

Gordons Wine Bar in Villiers Street, London (just outside Charing X Station) is thought to be the oldest wine bar in London and has been established in its present form since 1890 and the website says that they have pretty much kept everything in its original form so the decor remains unchanged Further reading of the webite reveals that Rudyard Kipling lived in the building as a tenant and wrote ?The Light That Failed? in the parlour above the bar. The building was also home to Samuel Pepys in the 1680's. I was going to blip in b&w but I decided that the shades of brown would be fine.
