Mangled

Made it to our haven away from the beaten track. The accommodation has redefined what i understood to be a 'lodge'; this is more like a palace. Definitely a bit of a find.

Glorious weather today made it all the better.

Great light this evening, so took a few shots. But as there's no technology here, can't blip them. So an iPhone shot will have to do.

Found this among the trees in the garden while exploring. For you kids out there, this is a mangle, or wringer depending on where you came from. People used it to squeeze the water out of their washing, before the advent of the spin-dryer.

Looking forward to a few beers with friends tonight. So the title may have a dual purpose. It's also prize giving as our team won the Tug-of-War again; for the third year in a row. Yay us!
