Walking on water

The heat index here today , (temperature with humidity factored in), is 112f as I write, and the hottest time of the day is to come. We decided to swim before the hoped for thunderstorms arrive; it was too hot to swim really, as the pool is in the full sun. My sainted daughter-in-law did her bit for life.turns - there was little opposition when I suggested a stroll on the water!
