Misty morning

Everything looks a touch more interesting in the morning mist. Almost like seeing things for the first time without my specs, sort of soft focus.

This shot was taken at 7.15 am just at the bottom of my driveway and yet now when I look at the same trees and the same puddle, they don't look like much.

Today is my half-century and I can't believe I have been blipping for a whopping 50 days. I'm off to have a wee dram to celebrate.
