Ex-bats

I went to collect my latest batch of ex-battery hens from the BHWT today. A sorry looking bunch aren't they? Not to worry though, their feathers will grow back and they will soon be roaming free with the rest of my flock. I'll give them a few days in the stable here till they literally find their feet. With them being in a cage their whole lives, they have very weak legs which are not used to walking. I'll be sure to blip them again soon. Wait till you see how a bit of fresh air and space to roam will transform them.
