Rowing the double

Tomorrow we go home to Seattle for a week or so. Things to take care of. And Tristen and Isolde at Seattle opera! And the Grandkids. This morning I got my husband out in our double shell (2 people, 2 sculling oars each) and even brought the iphone for the photo. This boat is a bit tippy for him in these waters so we are back in our bay not far from the shore. We also have an Alden ocean shell which is much more stable and makes more sense. But this boat is a pleasure to row - if the water is flat and there is no wind, so I thought I'd include its picture for the blip.
