Day 212 of 365

Went to the Rockford Airshow today. Love photographing airplanes, but todays overcast skys with sun periodically peeking through made shooting a real challenge. I saw this Boeing 747 "Dreamlifter" and thought of the perfect shot. Of course, I forgot all about that shot until the very last pass of the very last performance - the Air Force's Thunderbirds.

What resulted is this beauty which I'm actually proud to say is not post-processed one bit. I couldn't have been happier as Thunderbirds 1 - 4 split right out of the nose of the 747 perferctly for me.
