Active and healthy.

That is the name of this silver medal winning entry at Chelsea Flower Show.
It was at Gateshead's Flower Show today, where we spent a few hours enjoying all the exhibits. The magnificent flowers and vegetables were a joy to see, but the star of the show was this display by Gateshead Council.
It represents the Great North Run road race, and every little flower is meant to be a person running over the Tyne Bridge. It is very realisic, as when the race is in progress the Tyne Bridge is packed like this, with thousands of runners.
Well done to the gardeners of Gateshead Council, you deserved your award.
