Remind me what they are called...?

I have had one shot of these flowers on my camera everyday for weeks as a safety shot but something vaguely better has come up to push them out of the way...

Anyway - I love them. They flower for weeks without being given any attention or care and make us feel a bit better about easing into winter. I have just given the ones in my garden a present of mature dung courtesy of Northern and her endless supply of manure.

Doesn't relate to anything in particular but I really recomend this radio show if you are overworked or just in need of a smile.
