Heart's Ease

Despite the showery weather, a few of us ventured out after church to explore the walks between Bucksburn and Kingswells. What a revelation! I had no idea that these paths were right on my doorstep!

I love these little flowers which scattered the verges. Viola Tricolor, 'wild pansy' or (I like this name best) 'heartsease'.
