Orienteering

I made a mistake earlier this summer. I promised my girls a treat (like ice cream) every time they get a faster time than me from the last control to the finish in a competition. Competition meaning for us orienteering. I never realized how serious this would get! I'm a super lousy orienteerer but since then, I've been forced to run for my life the last hundred meters at every competition. Today they both beat me. Never underestimate the power of external motivators.
