A wee walk on the beach today before a stunning thunder storm and the heavens opening. What amazing clounds. The fields were oddly gold looking against the quite menacing sea.

A few weeks ago I met a woman who said she could never forget that Edinburgh is by the sea, and if I'm honest I never think of it being so. Today I remembered I'm wrong.

Then back into town for Swedish pear cider at Pearce's and home for a roast. Do I really have to go back to work tomorrow?
