Summer Nights

So it's August. It's supposedly summer. It's rained every single day since I got home from holiday on 13th.

Took the kids to see Toy Story 3 today, £31 lighter (for tickets, no food!) - I have to say I was utterly disappointed. At best I'd say it was "ok" - I was so excited about going, the others were great, the hype for this one has been good so my expectations were high. And that's where I crashed. I was expecting laughs throughout, there were a couple. I'd heard lots of people saying they cried - I couldn't even work out at what part they did.

Anyway, this evening I headed to Asda just to get me out as it poured all afternoon and it turned into a nice night. Drove home along the river and quickly got this. I knew the sky was a bit pink, but through I'd crop this shot. Was only when I got it on laptop I realised how nice the sky actually was. No crop then!

It's also my first entry into this months Aberdeen Blip Challenge where the theme is currently water.
